-Download a version of Lubuntu off the download mirror page. There are three different versions to choose from (Lubuntu 10.04, Lubuntu 10.10 and Lubuntu 11.04). Choosing the most recent version.
-Boot up Oracle VM and create a new virtual machine.
-Choose Linux as the OS type and Ubuntu as the version
-Choose the memory allocation size (512MB recommended)
-Once the machine is created. Import the downloaded .iso file.
-Should have a screen that looks like this.
